Free medical billing and revenue-cycle tools

Five free tools for the questions that come up while a claim is being built or a denial is being worked: whether two codes bundle, how many units Medicare will pay on a date of service, what a denial code means, how revenue-cycle vendors compare and what automation would return. The NCCI and MUE tools read the current CMS quarterly tables; none of them needs an account.

Where the answers come from

The NCCI edit checker answers one pair at a time from a packed copy of the CMS procedure-to-procedure tables (v323r0 (2026 Q4), effective 2026-10-01); the MUE lookup reads the CMS Medically Unlikely Edit tables (2026 Q4, effective 2026-10-01). Both show CPT codes as bare numbers, because the descriptors are licensed by the AMA, and both keep the codes you enter in the address bar so a check can be shared. The denial code lookup searches the X12 CARC and RARC lists with QuickIntell's reference guide for each code. The reference methodology lists every CMS file, version and hash behind the reference pages, and the HCPCS drug code pages carry the same MUE and NCCI figures per code.

Where QuickIntell fits beyond the free tools

The tools answer one question at a time. QuickCode supports qualified coder review before the billing handoff, and QuickRCM covers claim readiness, denials and A/R with configurable automation and human review.
